Google said it will automatically select subscriptions for users who don’t opt-in early May, noting that they will consider their current usage when making a decision. Any person or entity to whom the company automatically switches to a premium subscription will not be charged for at least two months. However, the company said it will suspend the accounts of individuals and organizations that do not enter their payment information by July 1.

Workspace accounts for business and enterprise start at a monthly cost of $6 per user. The company will offer “deep” discounts to those affected by the decision.
