Google Pixel Fold with 12GB RAM appears on Geekbench, codename Felix

Google Felix with 12GB RAM and octa-core chipset has appeared on Geekbench database. Recent rumors suggest that the phone could be a foldable version of the Pixel 7 series with a smaller display. It is expected to carry the Google Pixel Fold moniker. The company remains very tight-lipped about the details surrounding this foldable smartphone. However, the alleged designs of the Pixel Fold were recently leaked. It is expected to launch in May 2023 alongside the Pixel Tablet.

Pixel Fold was intentional listed on Geekbench as Google Felix. It is said to be powered by a 2.85GHz octa-core chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. Here Google the phone can also run on Android 13. It has achieved single-core performance score of 1,047 and multi-core performance score of 3,257 points.

The listed phone may be confused with Pixel 7 Proachieved a similar performance score on Geekbench. However, the past report has suggested that the Pixel Fold has been codenamed ‘Felix’. This Google smartphone has been lean will launch in the first quarter of 2023.

The alleged design renders of the Pixel Fold were recently revealed. Leakage provides a complete view of its design. It can boast a ‘very heavy’ metal and glass body. This smartphone appears to have a large display inside with bezels. There doesn’t appear to be a hole-punch or under-display camera on the internal display. Instead, it could feature a selfie camera in the top right corner.

Meanwhile, the cover display is said to have a hole-punch slot aligned in the center. Both front shooters are said to have 9.5-megapixel sensors. The Pixel Fold could also have a triple rear camera setup.

The Pixel Fold is expected to come in Chalk (white) and Obsidian (black) colors. It can cost around $1,799 (about Rs 150,000).
