Google Pixel 7 Pro spotted on Geekbench, introduces 12GB RAM feature
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench, suggesting that at least one variant of the smartphone will come with 12GB of RAM. The phone will be powered by an eight-core SoC, possibly a second-generation Google Tensor chipset. The Pixel 7 Pro will be launched on October 6, alongside the standard Pixel 7 and the Google Pixel Watch. The phone is expected to be available for pre-order on launch day and will go on sale from October 18.
Follow List of Geekbench on September 7th and spot by tip expert Abhishek Yadav, the Google Pixel 7 Pro scored 3,149 points in the multi-core test and 1,068 points in the single-core test. It is powered by an eight-core SoC confirmed to be the Google Tensor G2 chipset. The phone can be seen with 12GB of RAM and runs on the newly launched Android 13.
Recently, a report suggests that the Tensor G2 chip could use a combination of two Cortex-X1 cores, two Cortex-A76 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores like its predecessor. However, it is said to offer a speed boost in terms of CPU and GPU, ultimately improving performance by around 10%.
Famous tipper Roland Quandt (@rquandt) recent statement that both Pixel 7 series smartphones will only be available in 128GB and 256GB storage variants in Europe.
More, Google also disclosure that the Pixel 7 will be sold in Lem Lemon, Obsidian, and Snow colors. Pixel 7 Pro will come in Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow color options. Upcoming Pixel 7 Pro may have a shiny shiny interface while the regular version Pixel 7 may have a matte finish.
