The color options of the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were recently revealed by the company. Both upcoming handsets will come in three color variants. The published images also show slight differences in the rear camera bar of the two models. The Pixel 7 series will be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G2 SoC. Google has scheduled an event for October 6 to launch the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch. It will also announce new Nest smart home devices at the event.
The Google shop Landing page give Pixel 7 The series now introduces color options for both handsets in the lineup. The Obsidian and Snow color options are common to the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The third color option for the Pixel 7 Pro is Hazel with a yellow camera strip, while the third color variant of the Pixel 7 is lime green with a copper bar.
Both handsets have a similar design, however, the Pixel 7 Pro seems to have a shiny polished look and the Pixel 7 has a matte finish. Furthermore, the Pixel 7 Pro has two notches in the metal band, unlike the single cutout in the Pixel 7. The larger slot has dual image sensors, and the separate notch on the Pixel 7 Pro can also house the telephoto camera. .
The landing page now also mentions that the next-generation chipset powering the Pixel 7 series is called Google Tensor G2. It is said to bring ‘personalized features for photos, videos, security and voice recognition.’ These smartphones will also boot to Android 13 right out of the box.
Google announced on Tuesday that it will launch the Pixel 7 series on October 6. It will also reveal Google Pixel Watch, which was the first smartwatch designed and built by the company, at the same event. The watch will run on WearOS and will be compatible with Pixel and Android devices.
