Google Keep Launches Helpful New AI-Powered Feature for Android Users: What It Is and How It Works
Google Gemini’s “Help Me Create a List” feature for Google Keep has been in testing for quite some time. According to 9to5Google, the feature has now started rolling out to Android users.
The “help me make a list” feature will allow users to create lists like shopping lists or notes. This feature can also be used by users who are not Google One subscribers. Previously, this feature was limited to Workspace Labs.

How does the Help me create a list feature work?
The Help me create a list feature was announced at the recent Made by Google event where the Pixel 9 series was unveiled. The feature is capable of creating a list of items by taking a command or prompt from the user. For example, when a user gives the prompt “create a list of healthy food options for breakfast,” the feature will create a list that includes a range of items like oats, eggs, etc.
After creating a list, users have the option to recreate the list. They can also move the list to a blank note, where they can easily edit everything in the created list. The created list will be formatted automatically.
Google Keep doesn’t specify whether the feature uses AI to create lists. Help me create a list feature is rolling out to Android devices and is being made available to all users regardless of their Google Workspace Labs account.

The publication also reported that the feature was spotted on a secondary Google account that wasn’t signed up for Google One, suggesting that the feature is rolling out to all users regardless of whether they’re signed up or not.
Another latest version of Google Keep v2.24.332.02.90 shows a toggle button to turn off the AI feature completely. This version is not yet available on the PlayStore. However, users can explore the feature without downloading this new update.
