GoldenEye 007 hits Xbox and converts this week

Nintendo revealed back in September that the classic N64 game, GoldenEye 007, is coming to Switch, complete with online play. Microsoft announced the same day that GoldenEye 007 is also coming to Xboxalthough this version of the popular game will not feature online multiplayer like its Switch version.
Neither announcements include a release date, but today, the developer Rare reveal that GoldenEye 007 is coming out this weekon Friday, January 27. The Switch version will be available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, but you can purchase GoldenEye 007 individually on Xbox and it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Interestingly, the Xbox version, although without streaming functionality, will include improved control options (like dual analog stick support), native 16:9 resolution up to 4K Ultra HD, Consistent refresh rate and full achievement support.
If you own the Rare Replay on Xbox, you will have access to GoldenEye 007 for free.
