Placed in a group of four front runners who left the field early, goddess (Empire Maker) was running slower than the moderate speed due to Sweet enough (GB) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) as the top quartet have moved behind. Moving the widest of the four into the furthest turn, she traversed the past three Dalika (Ger) (Pastious {Ger}) and assume command at the top of the lane. With some length in hand, the Queen Goddess created too much space to resist closing Shantisara (Ire) (Coulsty {Ire}) to win the GIII Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf. The field covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:41.91. Lifetime Record: 11-6-2-1.
