Globally Listed ETFs Attracted Over $100 Billion in Investments in October

According to data compiled by ETFHOLDan independent research firm.

The worldwide network of ETFs accumulated $116.12 billion in October, yielding the total amount of money coming in so far this year is $708.37 billion. Additionally, total assets invested in the global ETF sector grew 6.2% to $8.87 trillion at the end of October. This compares to $8.35 trillion at the end of October. September.

Cash inflow also marked 41st consecutive months of monthly inflows for globally listed ETFs.

Within the US, the inflow leaders of 10 exchanges have collectively accumulated $41.84 billion and are led by funds that mirror the benchmark S&P 500. A group of fixed-income ETFs also stands out. See the breakdown below of the top 10 US ETF money flow leaders for October:

No. 10: SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 months T-Bill ETF (Billion) +$2.18 billion.

Number 9: iShares MBS ETF (MBB) +$2.24 billion.

Number 8: WisdomTree Floating Rate Bond Fund (USFR) +$2.29 billion.

Number 7: Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (NYSEARCA:VTI) +$3.10 billion.

No. 6: SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (JNK)+$3.14 billion

Number 5: Vanguard Tax Free Bond ETF (VTEB) +3.44 billion dollars.

Number 4: Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:JOIN) +3.48 billion dollars

Number 3: iShares iBoxx USD investment grade corporate bond ETF (NYSEARCA:LQD) +$3.65 billion.

Number 2: iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) +$4.39 billion.

Number 1: SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:spy) +13.93B.
