A 15-year-old girl has died after being hit by a bus in Birmingham.
The teen was seriously injured in the collision and was confirmed dead shortly after arriving at the hospital, police said.
The bus driver was helping police investigate a collision that occurred on Sheaf Lane in Sheldon around 3pm on Saturday.
PC Gail Arnold said: “A young girl has tragically passed away and we will do all we can to support her family during this time of profound grief.
“We’re working to establish the circumstances behind the collision and we’d love to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and especially anyone with dashcam footage. “
