Gigi Hadid is providing some clever styling inspiration first swimsuit season. On May 23, the model held a launch ceremony her Frankies Bikinis collaboration at the brand’s store in New York City, wearing one of the pieces she designed herself. She combined Golden brown swimsuit – a blue-and-white floral one-piece outfit decorated with elegant motifs of deer, elk and tree stumps – into a chic nighttime outfit that easily takes off a swimsuit as an outerwear.
Hadid wore the maillot decorated with coarse fabric as a jumpsuit, matching it with low-rise pants in khaki shade and a small cropped button at the top. For accessories, she added cream heels, a bright blue Louis Vuitton clutch, and layered crystal necklaces. The new mother previously shared cottagecore print is inspired by her journey as a mother her daughter, Khaialmost 2 years old now.
Hadid first launched her collection on May 11, and a second drop will follow on May 25. She teamed up with her longtime friend and founder Frankies Bikinis Francesca Aiello to design and produce the nostalgic Americana, inspired by Hadid’s Pennsylvania family home and their early friendship. “Francesca and Gigi grew up together, spending summer days and after-school afternoons on the sandy beaches of Malibu,” the brand stated in a press release. “Coming together 10 years later to design a swimwear and sunglasses collection was a moment for both of them.”
