Giancarlo Stanton is speechless after winning the All-Star Game’s MVP
On Tuesday, Giancarlo Stanton played in the fifth All-Star game of his career. But it wasn’t until this year’s game that he finally found success in the Midsummer Classic.
Stanton entered Tuesday’s game 0-6 with three sorties in the All-Star Game. He also scored in his first game against the National League on Tuesday. But then everything changed.
With the American League trailing 2-0 in the fourth round, Stanton sent Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin deep into a monstrous two-way homer to end the game.
