Evenlyaccording to his 4-5 bias, LOG IN (c, 2, Ghostzapper-Go beyond Blamevia Blame) took home best to win the title of ‘TDN Rising Star’ on Saturday at Churchill Downs. Leaving the middle gate in sector twelve in an orderly fashion, the gulf shuffled back up in an instant and raced between opponents in a tight group into the far turn. Second in a five-wide line around the first leg, Loggins took control to his own strength with a three-round wide move past the 1/4 pole to attack the front. In the one-horse race from there, he returned home in full command to clear the fields during the day under hand-riding. Easy action (Sightstown) is the best of the rest in second place. The final time for 6 1/2 furlongs is 1:15.87. O-Spendthrift Farm LLC, Steve Landers Racing LLC, Martin S. Schwartz, Michael Dubb, Ten Strike Racing, Jim Bakke, Titletown Racing Stables, Kueber Racing, LLC, Big Easy Racing LLC & Winners Win; B-Popatop LLC; T-Brad Cox. Lifetime record: 1-1-0-0.
