Ghislaine Maxwell said she believes disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has been murdered and that she wishes she had “never met” him.

The British social network61 years old, was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the United States last year for luring young girls into the massage room so that Epstein could sexually abuse them between 1994 and 2004.

Epstein was found dead in his cell at a Manhattan jail in August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.

His death is considered a suicide, but Maxwell, who was in a relationship with him, says she doesn’t believe it.

In an interview for Talk TV’s Jeremy Kyle Live: Ghislaine Behind Bars, she said: “I believe he was murdered. I was shocked.

“Then I wonder how it happened because as far as I know he will… I’m sure he’ll appeal. And I’m sure he’s covered under the agreement. not prosecuted.

“But I’m not on the indictment. I’m not mentioned. I’m not even one of the accomplices.

“I honestly wish I’d never met him.

“Looking back now, I probably wish I had stayed in England. But that aside, you know, I was trying to leave and start a new job and move in late ’98, ’99 .

“So I wish I had been more successful in continuing… Because I was once a banker and so I should have kept going completely.”

Maxwell, the daughter of the late media mogul and congressman Robert Maxwell, said she “didn’t know” Epstein was “so bad”, although he was “obvious now, of course looking back with hindsight membrane”.

“But at the time, I mean he had a lot of friends. He was friendly with almost anyone you can imagine,” she said while in prison.

“There’s no reason to imagine that he’s a man of interest.”

Convicted sex offenders also believe that the infamous photo of The Duke of York next to Virginia Giuffre is fake.

Believed to have been taken inside Maxwell’s Mayfair home, the photo shows Prince Andrew hugging Ms Giuffre, who claims he had sex with her when she was underage.

Andrew questioned the validity of the image and claimed to have never met Ms Giuffre, then Virginia Roberts.

Maxwell said: “Well, it’s a fake. I don’t believe it’s real. In fact, I’m sure it’s not… Never had the original. Plus, there’s no photograph; I’ve only seen one. its copy.

“I don’t believe it happened, certainly in the way it’s been described. It’s impossible. I don’t have any memory of going there. [the private nightclub] homeless [where Ms Giuffre said Andrew danced with her].

Could Prince Andrew’s settlement be challenged?

Reports over the weekend said Prince Andrew is now looking to overturn the deal.

Attorney Wendy Murphy said if those reports are accurate, the timing of the legal challenge could be crucial.

She told Sky News: “I think there’s about a 0.0% chance that the court will reverse the settlement. Remember that the money has been paid, the court has signed it.”

Andrew does not accept responsibility for the settlement.
