Get rid of deodorant stains with these easy steps

USA

The ost among us had to keep waving goodbye to that good friend, especially in public because we really didn’t want to reveal the map that produced that nasty deodorant leading nowhere. Blame the fabric or the weather, one thing’s for sure; Deodorant stains are not a pleasant sight to behold. Equally difficult is the over-consciousness that stalks you all day for fear of revealing your deodorant to everyone. Bummer!

After ruining your favorite light-colored clothes, you may start to wonder if using deodorant is really worth it. A perfect scenario of choosing between the devil (body odor) or the deep blue sea (deodorizes). This might be a bit of an exaggeration but sure, no one wants the stench of deodorant. Not now, never.

What are the factors to consider?

To remove deodorant stains, you need to consider the fabric type and the intensity of the pigment. Also, whenever you see a “dry cleaning only” label, it’s best to put aside the idea of doing it yourself and leave it to the laundry professionals.

Check out some practical ways to remove deodorant stains…

While Aspirin doesn’t relieve the headache, Aspirin will take care of the deodorant stains on your clothes. Procedure: Crush an appropriate number of tablets (depending on the amount of clothing affected) into a paste and apply to white clothing only. Leave for about 30 minutes then wash off.

# 5. Lemon

When life gives you lemons, you can decide to make lemonade or a deodorant stain remover. Procedure: Squeeze lemon juice directly onto the yellowed area(s) then sprinkle with salt. This is a very acidic combination and you can literally see the deodorant stains disappear when you rub the mixture thoroughly into the fabric.

Bonus tip:

  • After applying deodorant, wait until it dries before getting dressed. As they say, prevention is better than cure.
