Berlin is planning to deliver upgraded 4×4 vehicles, armored trucks, tactical buses and nearly 100 HX81 heavy-duty tractor systems to Ukraine as Russia’s offensive in the eastern Donbas region escalates. .
Quoting a report from Bild, Militarnyi reported that Germany had agreed to increase the supply of weapons and military vehicles to Kyiv, including the HX 81 tractor.
The vehicle is based on the MAN HX-series 8×8 chassis. The new German tractor system will be used to transport crawler vehicles, containers and heavy equipment.

Two cable winches with a pulling force of up to 20 tons each allow for loading and unloading of faulty equipment. An eight-ton self-healing winch is fitted to the front of the vehicle. Designed for maximum mobility, the trailer system will also be able to operate over long distances in areas with poor infrastructure.
