German Police Detain Iranian Citizen on Suspicion of Planning a Chemical Attack
Authorities in Germany said early Sunday that they had arrested a 32-year-old Iranian national on suspicion of purchasing cyanide and ricin in an attempt to “carry out an Islamic-motivated attack”.
In a brief statement released by police in Münster, Germany, authorities said investigators searched the suspect’s home in the city of Castrop-Rauxel for poison and other evidence.
