Geoff Huegill’s ex-wife, Sara Hills, found love with an insurance broker in Sydney

Geoff Huegill’s ex-wife, Sara Hills, is smiling again after a tumultuous few years following a highly publicized cocaine scandal that plunged her life into chaos.

Hills is said to be enjoying a new relationship four years after breaking up with the former swimming champion.

Sara, who has reverted to her maiden name Hills, is said to be dating Sydney insurance broker Dion Guest.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Guest has moved to Tasmania, where Sara lives with her two daughters, Gigi and Milla, and the couple now live together.

The couple have left sweet comments on each other’s Instagram photos, and Sara appears in Guest’s Instagram profile picture with her two girls.

The mother-of-two has faced a string of controversies for years after she and her ex-husband caused a stir in 2014 when they were found in a room in Royal Randwick with small amounts of cocaine.

In May 2018, Sara was accused of stealing a $2,500 pair of leather pants from a store in Byron Bay.

In August of that year, a judge found that Sara was mentally ill and suffered from ‘adjustment disorder, depression, eating and substance abuse’.

They also admitted to the sociopath’s remorse and dropped charges for mental health reasons.

Sara’s attorney had previously said in a statement that she was being treated for issues related to anxiety and depression.

Earlier this year, Geoff discussed how his marriage fell apart after he and his ex-wife were accused of cocaine possession in 2014 on SAS Australia earlier this year.

He breaks down when he reveals the terrible impact that fateful night had on his family.

‘We were pulled aside by the police and I was searched. And basically in the blink of an eye, our lives were turned upside down,’ he said during interrogation with the show’s Directing Staff.

‘I brought so much shame and guilt that I put my family through that process. And it led me to a point where I had to fulfill my call to leave my family. ‘

Geoff and Sara married in 2011 and split in 2018. The couple has two daughters, Mila, nine, and Gigi, seven.

‘I definitely regret it. My biggest thing won’t be my children’s daily lives, as our marriage separates,’ he continued.

“It’s an eye-opening thing because as you know life takes away from you in the blink of an eye,” added Geoff as he broke down.

‘When I retired from sport for the second time, the only thing I cared about was my family. The only thing I ever lived after swimming was just being a father,’ he continued, wiping away tears.

Police noticed that the couple had been in the bathroom for a while. When Huegills reappeared and returned to Moet & Chandon's private box, police interviewed and around 5:45 p.m. allegedly possessed a small bag of cocaine. Court photo in 2014

‘It’s something that I love and want to be. It hurts me to be in a position where I can’t live with my girls day in and day out. The last time I got to hold them was 18 months ago.

‘I basically lost my family and everything changed in the blink of an eye.’

The athlete admits he has had periods of depression since the breakup, but now hopes to redeem himself.

‘I used to sit there and think there would be an easier way out. But I’m very proud of the fact that I was able to pull myself out of the pretty dark times,’ he said.

‘If there’s one message I want to share with my children, it’s for them to understand and realize that life won’t be easy. What matters most is how we pick up and dust ourselves off. ‘

A NSW police spokesman told MailOnline: “Police are patrolling Randwick Racecourse as part of their normal duties.

‘They were directed by security officers to a suite in the stands, where a 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman are said to have found a small amount of a white powder, believed to be cocaine. “

The Daily Telegraph reported that Huegill was escorted out of the Moet & Chandon lounge by police.

The two were given a good relationship for six months without conviction at Waverley Local Court in May 2014, after they were caught using drugs at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.

He said at the time they were relieved that the case had been handled and issued an apology outside of court to his daughters.

“The two most important people we want to apologize to our two beautiful daughters,” Geoff said.

In October last year, Geoff ‘quietly’ welcomed a baby boy to a woman known only as Roxy, according to The Daily Telegraph.
