“A new chapter is about to begin amid a tangled web of factions. “This line comes with the latest trailer of The Genshin effectIncredible free RPG from miHoYo. The trailer dives into the fourth area of the game, Sumeru, inhabited by people who cannot dream and worship the God of Wisdom.
Suermu looks lush in the foliage, with fungal critters swarming on the large trunks. It also contains a desert area and looks pretty big like the other areas of the game.
The trailer also showcases a bunch of companion characters that players will meet upon completing missions. The first new character is Tighnari, a forest watchman, who we see holding a magical firefly in his hand. In Port Ormos, the player will meet Alhaitham from Haravatat in Akademiya. Deeper in the game, the player encounters Dehya of the Desertfolk, who is also a mercenary for the Emerites. There are also Nilou, a character who pursues art and dance, Nahida, a mysterious being, and Cyno, General Mahamatra.
All of this content is part of Genshin Impact’s update 03, this update doesn’t have a release date yet, but it looks like it’s near, given how much miHoYo revealed. Genshin Impact is currently available on PlayStation consoles and PCs, and works well on Android and iOS.
