Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It’s time to once again take a look at the notable updates of the past seven days. The Lunar New Year was yesterday, and now we enter the year of the rabbit again. The last one is really bad, so let’s hope this one is better. Oh right, the article. It’s no surprise that there are so many Lunar New Year-related updates this week. We have a mix of some of them and a few others that are completely unrelated to bring you a delicious blend to enjoy today. Of course, you can keep an eye on updates yourself by joining the TouchArcade forums. This weekly recap is just here to fill you in on the things you might have missed. Let’s go for it!
It feels like just a few weeks ago Jetpack Joyride there were several types fruit ninja the event is happening, but whatever. It’s Chinese New Year time, so party! Collect the Red Envelope to unlock some cool gifts like the Qing Dynasty Imperial Dress, the Prosperous Rabbit Jet Pack, and the Yin and Yang Chariot. Tacky but pretty cool, more or less Jetpack Joyrideits trademark, right? At least Barry looks fancy in that new outfit.
Bacon – GameFree
The words Bacon – Game Despite all the above ground concerns like holidays or indoor plumbing, it’s no surprise that its latest update has nothing to do with Chinese New Year. So what does it have? Only the exact thing that all fans of Bacon – Game can ever ask. Not big problems. That’s right, this new update has more things to put bacon on. Great! What a deal. I will take ten.
Joyride 2 . Jet,
Where Jetpack Joyridesometimes yes Joyride 2 . Jet. It’s not a hard and fast rule. I really just made it up. But this time yes Joyride 2 . Jet, and isn’t that important? This update features several new story levels to play through, ending Neontropolis and pitting the Red Photon. There’s also a new Jetpack Gumdrop Dispenser, a new Typhoon power-up, and a new avatar. Also in this update: bug fixes and performance improvements! We love those people!
Genshin Impact – Lantern RitualFree
The Genshin effect, the game is so good that it has won the Game of the Year award three times. There is a new update in the game and I’m sure most of you already know about it thanks to Mikhail’s good articles. But I had to bring it in here to save my home planet, so here it is. The Exquisite Night Bell update brings new characters Alhaitham and Yaoyao, new main event and login event, new area Hadramaveth Desert, some new skins, new boss and new weapon Light of Foliar Incision . Fancy name, fancy update. Those are the rules. All jokes aside, there’s a lot more to do in a game already overflowing with things to do. Go, enjoy.
I’m going to cheat and call this our mandatory free matching puzzle update this week. I know it’s not free. But it sure feels that way, doesn’t it? This latest version adds twelve new puzzle stages to play, plus a new 26 Zoo rank that allows you to further expand the size of your zoo. More space to put your trash in? Now that’s what I call a big update! There are also some bug fixes here, because there are always.
Simon’s Cat – Story Time,
Just in case the last one isn’t enough to satisfy your niche puzzle solving needs, here’s another one. However, this is another Apple Arcade game. Sorry. Hopefully most of you are subscribers. There’s a new story here where you have to help Ana renovate the veterinary clinic, which doesn’t look like a place a cat wants to go. The update notes also helpfully remind us that there are 25 new levels to play each week. Not bad. You’ll also find various improvements in this latest version of the game, plus the usual shadow bug.
Subway Surfers Tag,
Alright, one last Apple Arcade game update before we move on. main subway surfers the game is having a Lunar New Year event, but I missed it last week and it’s too far now. So instead, check out this game’s update, which adds a mysterious new surfer named Frank. You can log in everyday to earn some coins to help you catch him. Frank has a wild power shot called Anti-Gravity, and if you defeat the Dog you’ll earn a cool new outfit. I missed out on a pun on Frank’s name, I just realized it now. Alas, my delete key is broken forever. Let’s move on to the next thing.
F1 . mobile racingFree
Let’s move on to a racing game that we have not covered in these articles. Electronic Arts has a Formula 1 racing game, which I just learned today. Listen, I don’t like simulation racers. Anyway, it has a new update with some interesting improvements. There are some new in-race animations for the suspension, which add to the realism nicely. The performance of the rear view camera has also been improved. There’s a new race finish sequence and some serious tweaks to the user interface. Four new regional-themed Hot Run events have been added, and there’s also a new 2022 Favorites event where you can relive the best of last year. Not a bad update, all things considered. I’ll have to keep an eye on this from time to time.
Commander of the Star Trek FleetFree
It’s really quite impressive how much atmosphere Star Trek: The Next Generation was able to create with the limited budget and special effects technology of the time. Now watching some of the previous episodes, it’s not hard to notice the seams. But at the time, it was surprisingly effective at selling some of its more interesting concepts. For example, Borg. And that’s how it connects to this latest update, guys. I did it! I did segue! There are several new Borg Solo Troops in this update, along with some new Officers and more. Why someone would mess with Borg is other than me. Don’t poke the bear, you idiot.
Oh hey, an update for Cytus II. We’re on version 5.0 now, but what does that mean? Several new story updates, for starters. Pick up the remaining shard and listen to the farewell. There are some new free songs to go with the new story updates, plus two free songs DEEMO II crossover song and five classic songs Cytus song via CAPSO! reward. The guide has received a number of improvements, there is a new AI feature to solve the problem, and the user interface has received some tweaks. All in all, a good update, and a more worthwhile update UMMSotW This week’s awards.
Hmm. I think I may have oversold the Lunar New Year updates, guys. However, that almost ends it for last week’s important updates. However, I’m sure I’ve missed some, so please feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think something should be mentioned. As usual, the major updates will likely have their own news stories throughout this week, and I’ll be back next Monday to recap and fill in the blanks. Have a great week!
