Gemini AI Chatbot comes with several advanced features and capabilities, allowing users to perform tasks efficiently. One of its capabilities is to create images with the help of text prompts. New editing features of the Gemini AI image creator
According to the Android Authority report, Google has introduced several improvements to its Gemini AI image generator. Now, the latest Android 15 Beta version includes a new editing tool that allows users to tweak or provide more customization to AI-generated images. To better understand the features, the publication tested the feature by creating an image of a dog wearing a hat and sunglasses, then prompted Gemini to “swap the hat with a birthday hat” and it immediately image editing.

In addition to giving prompts, users can also highlight certain parts of the image and request specific changes in the AI-generated image. This will allow users to get only specific parts of the image that have been edited or modified. The demo video also highlights that this feature is not as accurate as expected and is prone to misunderstandings and inaccuracies. However, this feature is currently in beta and the stable version may not include such inaccuracies in image generation. Additionally, we also highlight that the editing process will take some time, so the final demo is expected to be different from the demo video shared about the feature.
In addition to Google’s AI image generation, Apple is also speculated to introduce Image Playground by the end of 2024, potentially competing with Google. Apple’s previews show some advanced image generation capabilities, however, it’s uncertain how Apple’s image generation will perform compared to Google’s AI image generation, which has been fine-tuned quite a while since its launch.
