Gasoline prices have fallen for 24 consecutive days. The relief may be temporary.
Gasoline prices in the US have fallen for 24 consecutive days after hitting a record last month. But analysts say prices could rebound if demand from drivers picks up and supplies are constrained.
The average price of a gallon of unleaded gas was $4.72 on Friday. This is down about 6% since prices peaked at $5.02 on June 14, according to data from OPIS, an energy data and analysis provider.
