CO Satendra Singh of Chhapra, a member of the arrangements team, said that adequate arrangements have been made for tourists in Chirand.
“The SDRF team is stationed at the ghat to be able to act immediately in any contingencies. Due to the lack of water, it is difficult to bring tourists ashore. Therefore, efforts are being made to bring tourists by air. small boat,” he said.
Ganga Vilas Cruise also has special features. Its speed is up to 12 km per hour upstream and 20 km downstream. The yacht has an RO system for drinking water, along with a wastewater treatment plant. The yacht has all the necessary amenities for the convenience of the people and their needs. Its fare in India is Rs 25,000 a day, while in Bangladesh fare is Rs 50,000 a day.
Prime Minister Modi lowered the flag of the journey from Varanasi on January 13.
The luxury three-decker yacht will sail the world’s longest waterway from Varanasi to Dibrugarh in Assam. The yacht can accommodate 80 passengers with 18 suits.
This cruise will include an adventurous journey in 51 days and pass through Bangladesh in 15 days. It will then reach Dibrugarh via the Brahmaputra River in Assam.
The luxury cruise will cover a distance of more than 3,200 km and pass through 5 states of India and Bangladesh.
This journey will traverse a total of 27 river systems of UP, Bihar, West Bengal, Bangladesh and Assam. The journey will pass through three great rivers Ganga, Meghna and Brahmaputra.
The cruise will enter the Bhagirathi, Hooghly, Bidyavati, Malata and Sundarbans river systems in Bengal.
In Bangladesh, it will pass through Meghna, Padma and Jamuna in Bangladesh and then enter Brahmaputra in Assam.
According to an official statement, the 51-day itinerary is planned with visits to 50 tourist attractions including World Heritage Sites, National Parks, Ghats River and major cities like Patna in Bihar, Sahibganj in Jharkhand, Kolkata in West Bengal, Dhaka in Bangladesh and Guwahati in Assam.
