Ganesh Chaturthi Special: Make This Super Yummy Kesar Mawa Modak


It’s time to say ‘Ganapathi Baapa Moreya‘. The countdown for the arrival of Lord Ganesh has begun. The 10-day Ganesh Mahotsav was observed with much joy and rejoicing across the country. Do we hear? modak? After all, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are not complete with sweet dumplings. It is also said to be Lord Ganesha’s favorite sweet. And, to add to the festive atmosphere, Pankaj Bhadouria is here to teach us how kesar mawa modak. Yummilicious is the word. Don’t worry, the modak recipe will be ready in no time. Element:

Milk – 1/2 cup

Desi ghee – 1 tablespoon

Powdered milk – 1 cup

Kesar

Sugar – 1/4 cup

Dried fruit chopped

How to make kesar mawa modak?

1) First, heat some milk in a pan. Add some ghee desi and mix well into the milk.

2) Add the powdered milk and keep stirring until you notice a noticeable change in consistency. The mixture will thicken.

3) Now it’s time to add some flavor to it. Put kesar and mix well. Now, add chopped dried fruit to it.

4) When everything is well mixed and well cooked, get help from modak producer. Continue to take some portions from the mix and start making modaks using the manufacturer. Your kesar mawa modaks ready.
