It is a 10-day festival that ends with Ganesh Visarjan. During the festival, we worship Lord Ganesha for wealth, prosperity and success. Devotees bring home their favorite deity and offer them sweet and savory bhog to him. Food plays an important role in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. From modak to laddoo and beyond – a wide range of dishes are prepared during this time of year.

Now, heat the pan over low heat and add the buttermilk. Fry the sticks until they turn crispy and golden brown. After frying, remove and let cool completely.

Next, crush the sticks and grind them in a blender. Grate jaiphal and add to the ground churma. Heat the ghee and melt the jaggery. Add a little water and mix again. Add the jaggery and melted buttermilk to the churma and mix well.
