Fully Equipped Manual GR Supra Costs Nearly $65,000 In The US
Today is Toyota Supra date, for real time. This is the day we learn about manual transmission 2023 Toyota GR Supra expenses and then keep opening your bank statement or banking app or scrambling to check how much our daily driver is worth barter. Kidneyand other replacement body parts.
Relax. You may not have to resort to the black market and organ trafficking. By some luck, GR Supra with manual transmission will cost the same as automatic transmission, starting at $53,595 including destination. But the price only goes up from there, and easily falls into the low to mid $60,000 range. At its low fifties, the GR Supra sounds doable. To the north, well, less so.
As fellow auto geeks on the internet – who no doubt love car configurators as much as we do – Motor1 see how much a Supra manual transmission could cost if you ticked all the boxes: $64,534. For a closer look, here are Toyota’s starting prices for the whole Supra Series 2023 GR (MSRP):
Again, at the low end, the “base” model GR Supra MT will run you $53,595 in a white, black, or red paint finish. That’s okay, but we can agree that the yellow Supra is the best. That’s a few hundred more, or $54,020 in all.
I’m qualifying “base” model with quotes because the real base model is the GR Supra 2.0, powered by a less powerful turbocharged four-cylinder. The 2.0 model won’t come with a lever and I’d be furious if it didn’t Toyota GR86 (with a stick,) that I’ll take over the turbocharged four-wheel-drive Supra any day.
Toyota may have doubted how competitive the GR86 would be next to the Supra 2.0, so your prerogative of self-driving gears is reserved for the Supra 3.0. Really, if you want the visual experience of a six- or six-speed coupe, the inline RWD is offered by BMW’s I6 drivers but with Toyota’s reliability in one of the best designs available right now. at, it’s GR Supra 3.0 MT or bust.
It just costs an uncomfortable amount.
Go 2023 Toyota GR Supra configuration set. Sort by price, highest to lowest—wait, no. It’s just my own habit as an aspirational person. Click on special edition $58,345 Supra A91-MT, limited to 500 models. Choose the “Burnout” paint color, which is just a matte version of the cheaper model’s white paint job that costs $1,645. There’s a mandatory driver assistance package that costs $1,195 and includes cruise control and blind spot monitoring, etc.
Now add the $925 carbon fiber mirror caps, because of the weight savings. Then a $59 connector for a color-matched red USB cable. Add a $110 rear cargo pad. Go ahead, add all this useless crap; short life. Pocket $399 for three-year paint and fabric protection. And don’t forget the $1,095 destination fee.
It all adds up to $63,773 excluding installation fees for accessories. And, of course, that doesn’t include dealer price increases! A new Supra with a change bar would be expensive, though. Also can get your money’s worth.
