Rubina, who is known for her role in Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, chatted with ETimes TV and talked about having a baby with her husband Abhinav Shukla. Rubina, who is currently participating in Jhalk Dikhhla Jaa, shared her thoughts on parenthood “No, we are not thinking about getting married right now. Right now we want to think of both of us first. We have always believed in the idea of enjoying every stage, enjoying the maximum. We don’t want to rush into anything. Even that time will come when we will have to expand ourselves. Even that time will come when our relationship will develop into fatherhood. Right now is the time to get to know yourself better, grow together. I think being a parent is a big responsibility and until and unless you don’t understand each other well enough, you shouldn’t do it. Bringing a child into this world in your life is a huge responsibility and it must be understood very well by both parents.”
Asked if we had any pressure from her family, she added, “Fortunately, our family is not pressured, nor in a hurry, but when it comes to age, we should do it, no. We want to have and appreciate a life that is coming to us and nurture it with all our mindfulness and intention. And to do that, we need to spend more time together and get to know each other well so that when the time comes we don’t get bogged down, but we enjoy and appreciate it more.
