Freshman Sire McCraken Gets First Winner at Keeneland

Sire freshman McCraken (Ghostzapper) made his mark with his first-ever winner at Keeneland Thursday.
Drawn the widest of all, Crackalacking (f, 2, McCraken–Sacred Moon, by Malibu Moon) forces the issue from an outside third, winning command in the far leg and making the race out there five long at 18-1 odds.
The first is the drag rail, which is extremely well supported Grand Oak (Ire) (Sightstown).
It was the first victory of his career at Keeneland, when he beat jockey Ferrin Peterson and coach Sarah Hamilton respectively.
