Freddie, Martyn Meade Merge under Banner Manton
Freddie Meane will join his father, Martyn, with a coaching license under the umbrella of Manton Park Racing. Technical (GB) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}), which ran during G3 Cazoo’s Princess Elizabeth S. Derby, will be the first runner for the new training partnership. Freddie has been his father’s assistant since 2014.
“I grew up around horses and riding since I was a kid. Coaching is always the end goal.” Freddie said. “I wish we could use traditional training methods at Manton but engage a wider audience through the use of modern techniques.”
The operation has been extensively renovated for both the course and the gallop track, has been restored and is fully watered. The father-son operation, which is aiming to double the number of horses it is training to fill the yard with a capacity of 100 horses, plans to operate with desirable revenue.
