Frank Warren Gives Clear Answers On Every Reason Anger-AJ Might Not Be Working
Frank Warren, the guy pulling the strings behind a fight that fans are screaming for, is more confident than ever the talks will go well.
What started as one of many captions from Tyson Fury has turned into a real potential big fight. Anthony Joshua joined and directed Eddie Hearn to join him. In the time since the video was posted, all terms given by Warren have been agreed.
For now, we can expect to say that fans will be able to watch The Gypsy King’s ‘AJ’ challenge for the WBC belt on December 3.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, the Queensbury promoter answered briefly when asked if there was any reason why the fight couldn’t be done.
“No.”
He continued, saying something many know about the history between his team and Hearn’s thoughts may never have uttered.
“I am not worried at all. For once, we’re all on the same page. “
All looks good on the negotiating table. One point that many in the boxing world think can make the fight unsettled is the broadcasters. Fury is exclusive to BT Sport in the UK while Joshua has just signed a contract worth over £100m with DAZN.
According to Warren, the discussions are active and ongoing.
“BT is the broadcaster of the world champion. So they will gather together, because they have to sort out their things and hope they will. Everyone here has a great will to make this happen, and I think it will. “
In the end, however, always being a realist, Warren likened the situation to a top-notch football transfer on a deadline day.
“It’s like the last day of the transfer [window] – this player went to Arsenal and then he signed with another club. Until you sign the contract, you have nothing. “
In contract negotiations that have been widely publicized, the signature on the dotted line is the news we are still waiting for.
