The South Florida workbench was dotted with several horses getting ready Saturday morning for a possible start at the GII Fasig-Tipton Fountain of Youth S. at Gulfstream Park on March 5.

WinStar Farm and Siena Farm LLC’s Rising star TDN‘Emmanuel’ (More than ready) will be looking for Tuesday’s win as multiples start at the Fountain of Youth and adjust for an extended 8 1/2 test with the half-mile bullet in: 48.05 (1/32) Saturday morning at the training house Todd Pletcher’s is based in the Palm Beach Downs.

He’s done a great job, I’m very pleased with that,” said the conditioner, who also started GII hero Remsen S. Mo Donegal (Uncle Mo4f,:49.37) and GII hero Iroquois S. Brigadier (Organization, 5f, 1:02.29). Both are being considered for Fountain of Youth.

“I don’t know for sure. I have to talk to Jerry Crawford about Mo Donegal tomorrow,” Pletcher said. “I talked to [WinStar’s] Elliott [Walden] a little this morning. One of my concerns is that it looks like this is going to be a big field. You can enter and draw a bad article. We can consider importing both Mo Donegal and Major General. All things being equal, Major General will probably go to [Mar. 12 GII] The Tampa Bay Derby. ”

Rattle N Roll (Connection), last year’s GI Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity winner, prepared for his seasonal debut in the Fountain of Youth by drilling five-eighths of a mile at: 58.67 a.m. Saturday on Gulfstream Park mainline.

“It went very well. Coach Ken McPeek said: “He did a great job and was brilliant. We’ll do a little work on Wednesday, and he’s ready. ”

Howl time (Not this time), has not ranked since his fifth attempt to Smile Happy (Runhappy) in the GII Kentucky Jockey Club S. in late November, went five times in: 58.54, while his fellow Dale Romans Giant game (Giant’s Causeway) covers a similar distance in: 59.04.

Simplify (Not this time), an excellent second in GIII Holy Bull S., went five stretches in 1:02.66 at Gulfstream Park for coach Antonio Sano.
