Fox Sports will provide pre-World Cup Twitter broadcasts for every game


You won’t have to leave social media to see some information about FIFA World Cup matches. Fox Sports has extend that is relationship with Twitter to provide pre-match live shows and in-match previews (via @foxsports and @foxsoccer) for every match of the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Women’s World Cup. You can also look forward to the highlights enable “near real time” during gameplay as well as when posting -Relevant discussions.

According to the social network’s global director of content, TJ Adeshola, the exclusive deal for both the men’s and women’s tournaments is the first for Twitter. Naturally, you can expect Fox to support streams through advertising.

You’ll still have to use the Fox Sports app or website (plus a pay TV subscription) if you want Live streaming of matches. Like it or not, broadcasters want to steer you toward their most lucrative business. Even so, this at least provides more ways to get into the group stages or build hype for a must-win knockout.
