Fat 2 year old Mohammed Al Shahi Wednesday (Fr) (Profit {Ire} –Eaton Street {GB}, by Discreet Cat) has won two of the previous three outings and continues on an upward trajectory with decisive success at the G2 Prix du Calvados in Deauville today Saturday. Trainee Maurizio Guarnieri debuted with a June 17 win at La Teste de Buch before finishing second on the same seven-hair strip back there the following month and lining up to start her first black style. with an impressive length of 4 1/2. tally at Dax last week. A 13-2 chance was easily placed in sixth after the opening exchange of this third attempt at a seven-part gap. Taking the order closer when half way through, she was driven to take her challenge past the quarter mile marker and clearly extended under constant urging inside the final stretch together to gain two-length advantage from Sparkling beauty (Fr) (Oasis dream {GB}).
