Fourth alleged IS ‘Beatle’ Aine Davis charged with terrorism offences after arrest at Luton airport | UK News
A man believed to be the fourth member of the Islamic State terrorist organization Beatles has been charged with terrorism after being deported to Britain by Turkish authorities.
Aine Davis from Hammersmith, west London, was arrested on Wednesday night after arriving at Luton Airport on a flight from Turkey.
He has been charged with terrorism-related events in 2014 and in possession of a firearm for terrorism-related purposes, the Crown Prosecution Service said on Thursday.
The 38-year-old will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court later today.
“The Beatles” are credited with the kidnapping and detention of more than 20 Westerners, and the execution of at least seven of them, including Britons David Haines and Alan Henning and human aid workers. US Kayla Mueller and Peter Kassig.
The group sparked worldwide outrage after releasing a video of the executions of two American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

He was later given the nickname “Jihadi John”, and is believed to have died in a US drone strike in Syria in November 2015.
El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey, also from West London, are “Ringo” and “George”.
Kotey was jailed in the US in April for his part in the torture and murder of hostages, while Elsheikh, will be sentenced in August for his role.
A fourth member, who is said to be less involved, is apparently known as “Paul”.
