Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 looks like Cyberpunk 2077 on a sugar rush
Fortnite Chapter 4 season 2 is here, boasting a psychedelic new trailer, along with a bunch of new cosmetics, items, and locations.
fortressLatest update of promises all kinds of new gifts. Mega City, a brand new map that comes with a new biome full of new locations including the peaceful cherry blossoms of Steamy Springs, the waters of the Knotty Nets, and the frenetic battles of Kenjutsu Crossing , etc. The latest season (opens in a new tab) also comes with two new weapons, the Havoc Pump Shotgun and the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle, as well as two new vehicles specially designed for the winding streets of Mega City.
The new Battle Pass has also been dropped. It’s full of futuristic character designs that would be right at home in the cyberpunk streets of Mega City and will set you back 950 V-bucks. In a jarring twist, Battle Pass winners can also unlock Eren Jaeger, the iconic anime’s protagonist Attack the giant (Present its 4th season). However, with Mega City’s emphasis on abrasive rails and 3D movement, the inclusion of wall-jumping, building-scaling Eren Jeager doesn’t seem strange in hindsight.
The launch trailer for the new update shows off the new motion options in a great way. The plush characters use grinding rails to navigate the futuristic metropolis of Mega City, before we get a glimpse of some of the other areas in the biome. The gentle cherry blossom trees of Steamy Springs look gorgeous as a stylish samurai outsmarts enemies while jumping over rooftops. It’s psychedelic, cyberpunk and groundbreaking all at once. You won’t find this kind of thing in Call of Duty: War Zone or Anonymous Player’s Battlefieldsure.
neurology
I remember, in the olden days, I saw an advertisement for a zombie survival game called fortress on a bus one morning as I go to work. I never imagined that one day this title would bring a beautiful neon color scheme of urban futurism to the players. It’s hard to believe that a game with relatively modest beginnings can now offer so many experiences.
I confess, I found the trailer quite engaging. fortress seemed ready to break the fourth wall with a cheeky wink and a wry smile. The people behind the trailer are fully aware of how jarring it is to watch Attack the giantEren Jeagar’s appears in an environment that seems to belong Electronic 2077. What is clear, however, is that artists and designers are reveling in the absurd.
They have the right to do this because fortress At its core is an expansive set of dolls and action figures, inviting the player’s imagination to run wild. The title intentionally and proudly breaks down a lot of the arbitrary boundaries we establish in our fiction. There is something wonderfully childish about fortressits inherent playfulness and it’s nice to see that Epic seems committed to continuing this trend.
