Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Instagram Account Hacked, Linked to Elon Musk’s Fake Crypto Account

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s official Instagram account was hacked on Monday. The hacker shared a crypto-related promotional tweet from his Instagram account. A link to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s fake crypto account was also attached to his handle. Imran Khan currently has more than 7.4 million followers.

Former Prime Minister Pak has yet to give an official response. Party members and his followers are advising against interacting with any unusual posts.

Back in December, the Twitter curator of the Pakistani Embassy in Serbia posted a message about not paying government officials.
