Former Mets Action GM Zack Scott Not Found Indicted With DWI . Allegations

Two months later fired from his position of acting general manager with New York Mets, Zack Scott has found his rightful fate in connection with a traffic incident in August 2021.

Scott was placed on administrative leave by the Mets after he was arrested at 4 a.m. on August 31 in White Plains, NY, hours after attending an event at the home of team owner Steve Cohen in Connecticut.

Scott was appointed acting GM in January 2021 after Jared Porter was fired following an ESPN report that the former GM sent a clear text message to a female reporter while working with the Chicago Cubs in 2016. .

Before joining the Mets as assistant general manager, Scott worked with the Boston Red Sox for 17 years.
