Ford’s Roadmap to Electric Vehicles Running Through China
There is no avoiding China, or losing jobs, on the road to electric vehicle development.
Ford draw up elaborate plans to accelerate production of EV Thursday. They say they have secured all the batteries needed to produce the Mustang Mach-Es, F-150 Lightning, Transit EV and a new sport utility vehicle with an annual run rate of 600,000 units by the end of the year. 2023. To reach the target run rate of two million EVs by the end of 2026, it has supplied 70% of the battery.
