Ford registers a 7.8% drop in November sales in the US; Increase EV 103%

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) reported a 7.8% drop in US sales in November is 146,364 units. Retail sales fell 15.8%.

However, Ford EV sales increased 102.6 percent year-on-year to 6,255 vehicles.

The results made Ford the second-best-selling American brand and manufacturer of electric vehicles, second only to Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA).

Pickup and SUV sales fell 1.2% and 15%, respectively.

“Demand continues to be strong with overall retail orders for ’23MY vehicles up 104% from a year ago, driven by Super Duty and Maverick. Super Duty has received a record number of total orders. record 152,000 since bank orders opened on October 27. As the year ended, the F-Series extended its lead to more than 117,000 trucks over its competitor in second place, ” said Andrew Frick, Vice President of Sales, Distribution & Trucks, Ford Blue.
