Mayweather credits himself as the man who helped Tank Davis (27-0.25 KOs) become a “millionaire” while he was under his tutelage as a boxer.
Some fans believe that Floyd kept the Baltimore-born boxer at bay by seemingly protecting him with his gentle matchmaking, which shows Tank up against lesser names and kept in the background. For many years he participated in Mayweather Promotions.
Instead of Tank Davis fighting the likes of Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, Vasyl Lomachenko and George Kambosos Jr, he’s been up against these guys in recent years:

What a pure waste of talent. Tank Davis would be a much bigger star today if he was matched by Mayweather Promotions throughout his career.
