Florida crash leaves pregnant woman and her mother tragically dead
A suspect fleeing police in Florida crashed into a pregnant woman’s car, killing her and her mother.

Police chase turns deadly
EVERYBODY reports that Neoni Copeland, 23, crashed her Kia Stinger into a blue Toyota Corolla at a high rate of speed. The incident occurred in Boynton Beach around 8 p.m. local time on July 30.
Police told PEOPLE the crash sent pregnant Jenice Woods, 27, and her mother, Marcia Pochette, 57, to the hospital, where they died.
Based on CBS 12 NewsJenice Woods was in her blue Toyota when Neoni Copeland crashed into her. The outlet revealed that Copeland had fled from a pursuit by West Palm Beach police before hitting Jenice Woods and her mother. Neoni reportedly fled on foot after the crash, but police arrested him after a 911 call described a man matching his description.
Junel Pochette, Marcia’s husband and Jenice’s father, told CBS 12 News that his daughter was two months pregnant when she died.
“Two and a half lives have been taken from me: my daughter, my wife, my future grandchild. We are expecting a new grandchild.”
Junel Pochette also pointed out that drivers frequently cause accidents in Boynton Beach.
“Accidents happen out there all the time. I hope they look into this. I don’t want to see another life taken that way,” Junel said.

Police Chief Frank Adderly has placed the officers involved on paid leave following the conclusion of the BBPD’s investigation into the crash.
“While there are still many questions and few answers at this time, we need to let the facts guide us through the investigation. We are cooperating with the Boynton Beach Police Department and are committed to full transparency,” Adderly said.
WFLX And WPTV TV Station Neoni Copeland is facing charges of resisting arrest and fleeing the scene of a fatal crash, according to reports.
Copeland remains in the Palm Beach County jail without bail and it is unclear whether he has legal representation.
