Flavor Flav Supports Jordan Chiles at the VMAs
Flavor Flav and Chiles first appeared on the VMAs black carpet at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. Jordan wore a silver Off-White minidress with black, red and white striped trim at the high neck and around her thighs. She paired the outfit with elbow-length gloves, knee-high tights and a sleek bun. Flavor Flav, meanwhile, wore a pink jacket and pants paired with a black T-shirt. He wore a giant pink pendant, a square diamond necklace around his neck and a black and pink baseball cap.
Megan Thee Stallion kicked off the show just after 8 p.m. ET, wearing a skintight Team USA-inspired outfit. She gave shoutouts to her hotties and “enemies” before handing the mic to her onstage guests, Jordan Chiles and Flavor Flav.

Flav took a moment to watch the promise he made almost a month ago to give Jordan a bronze watch necklace. “Something NO ONE ELSE HAS,” Flav wrote in his X (formerly Twitter) message, encouraging the competitor to “hit” him! While on stage, he repeated that message.

He also reportedly promised Chiles the bonus she would receive if she won an Olympic bronze medal, according to NBC News.

In August, Jordan Chiles revealed that “one of the most challenging moments” of her career was the International Olympic Committee’s decision to strip her of her bronze medal. Their decision came after the Court of Arbitration overturned a score change that had moved Chiles from fifth to third place.
The ruling came about five days after an emotional Jordan Chiles celebrated her victory with her teammates in Paris. USA Gymnastics fought on Chiles’ behalf, even submitting video evidence that the Court of Arbitration chose not to consider. Ultimately, her bronze medal was awarded to Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu, while another Romanian gymnast, Sabrina Maneca-Voinea, took fourth place.
Hours before the VMAs began, Jordan Chiles spoke at a Forbes event about her stripping experience. She admitted that she’s still looking for “justice” and “peace” in the situation, explaining the “biggest thing” she was deprived of. “The biggest thing that was taken away from me was… recognition of who I was, not just the sport but who I was.”
