Flashback to Defeat Rangers in Game 3
The Tampa Bay Lightning faced two goals and were in danger of falling behind with a 3-0 scoreline against the New York Rangers, but they scored three in a row and won, 3-2.
The game winning goal for Lightning arrived was only 41.6 seconds from the regulation when Victor Hedman found Ondrej Palat who took a shot before Rangers goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin could get past the net. It was Palat’s 10th career goal in the knockout stages, setting a new Lightning franchise record.
