Fire burned down the house of Count Thomas, Pro Bowler seven times

Although he is still waiting for his shot to take back to the NFL, 2022 was an eventful year for the seven-time Pro Bowler Count Thomas. It’s also not good news for the 33-year-old’s safety.

Thomas arrested in May for allegedly violating a court order of protection. In mid-May, it was reported that he was facing felony charges for at least two violations of the protective order in May 2021.

According to Austin American-Statesman, Thomas is facing charges of sending threatening text messages to a woman. Thomas’s attorney said his client has been in contact with his ex-wife to arrange visits with their children.

Then, on Thursday, Thomas’ home in Orange County, Texas caught fire and burned down.

“When we got to the scene, boys, the fire brigade was already in [and] found severe fire conditions in that corner. We cannot control it quickly. Given the size of the structure, their choice was to proceed with the pull out and just defend with it,” said Sheriff Matt Manshack, every 12 News Now.

Although the home was declared “totally lost”, no injuries were reported following the incident.
