Philippine imports at B.League All-Star Game. –B.LEAGUE
MANILA, Philippines—Filipino-sponsored Asian stars beat B.League Rising Stars, 118-114, in the B.League All-Star Japan match at Adastria Mito Arena on Friday night.
Matthew Wright led all of the Philippines imports for the Asian All-Stars with a nearly double double of 14 points and 9 rebounds, a two- and three-fold drop in the process.
Altiri Chiba’s Kobe Paras also excelled, scoring 12 points and 9 goals while Bobby Ray Parks Jr. of Nagoya won 11 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
Shiga Lakes’ Kiefer Ravena may have just finished with eight points but he says his main focus is not on scoring goals but on entertaining the fans in attendance.

Wang Weijia, an Asian player imported from China who plays for Akita Northern Happinets, led the Asian All-Stars with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 cents.
Meanwhile, leading Japan’s Rising Stars was Taiki Okada, who finished the match with the highest 26 points in the game, punching 8 shots from outside the arc out of 16 executions.
