Ferrari Roma Convertible could be teased, launch on March 16
Ferrari plans to announce four new models in 2023, one of which could launch on March 16. The Italian sports car brand took to Instagram to tease the steering wheel of “something special.” , as it names, can be Roma Convertible. introduced a super short video with no specifics on what we’ll see next week, however, the audio clip offers some clues.
The short intro video published by Ferrari It begins with soothing music and the chirping of crickets. The perforated edge of the steering wheel rim and silver paddle shifters come into focus before the camera rolls back to reveal the entire wheel with the Ferrari brand logo front and center. Gradually the chirping of the crickets disappeared, replaced by the sound of the wind as sunlight shone through the wheel and bathed it in bright light. The teaser video also shows a carbon fiber spoked steering wheel and a flat bottom design. All these subtle visual and audio cues can hint at Rome convertible, which could launch on March 16.

Ferrari will position the Roma convertible below the Portofino M rather than replacing it with the new model. The car brand introduced the other convertible in 2017, three years before revealing the Roma and it was already starting to show its age. However, having two identical convertibles in the lineup seems a bit odd for Ferrari.
Speaking of the upcoming car, if it’s a Roma convertible, it will likely draw its power from the same twin-turbo V8 as the coupe. This engine produces a maximum capacity of 612 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The engine propels the coupe from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and to 200 km/h from a standstill in 9.3 seconds, allowing the car to run at a top speed of 320 km/h. Expect the Roma convertible to match the coupe’s performance numbers, similar to the SF90 Stradale and SF90 Stradale Spider.
