Fernando Tatis Jr. to start making progress

San Diego Padres Reserve star Fernando Tatis Jr is taking the next step in his hopes of returning to the diamond.
It was reported on Thursday that the brothers were “extremely cautious“with the 23-year-old after he underwent surgery to repair a broken wrist in March. It is estimated that Tatis Jr will be sidelined for up to three months, but now it is mid-July , it’s been four months since the surgery.
Tatis Jr missed out on time in the 2021 campaign with a nasty shoulder but still managed to lead the league with 42 home runs in 130 games and claim a second Silver Slugger in a row. He also registered 97 RBI, 25 stolen bases and a .282/.364/.611 slash and placed third in the NL MVP vote.
