As The Shade Room previously reported, Fatman Scoop, the legendary advertising man, passed away at the age of 53 on August 30. His official Instagram account confirmed the news.
Shanda Freeman paid tribute to the rap icon in a series of Instagram posts. In one post, she thanked people for their love and support for her late ex-husband. She also praised his energy and empathetic nature, noting how he was always supportive of everyone he met.
I want to PERSONALLY THANK EVERYONE who showed love to Isaac @fatmanscoop and I. He was an ICON and a LEGEND and so many people loved him. He was pure at heart and loved helping others.

Their marriage garnered attention from the 2008 MTV television series, ‘Man And Wife.’ The interactive series was based on their video podcast, which covered topics such as safe sex, relationship building and more.
Along with her tribute, Shanda Freeman shared a promotional photo from their popular series.
