Fat Joe shares about using Ozempic and maintaining his weight loss
On Monday, October 14, US Weekly published an exclusive interview with Fat Joe. During the chat, the rapper detailed how “cutting out carbs and Ozempic” has “helped him lose weight.”
More specifically, the rapper detailed his diet.
“We just try to eat everything with as few carbs as possible,” the 54-year-old explains. “So we try to stay away from bread, pasta and rice. That’s the smartest way to eat.”
Even so, Joe notes that carbs are still necessary in a person’s diet. This shows that he prefers to remember portion control.
“Like this morning I had breakfast, I had this toast. I cut corners, ate it and kept it moving,” he said. “Normally, I would eat… the whole thing. But you know, that’s what we do. We cut down on carbs and try to be smarter.”
According to the source, Joe explained that using Ozempic has “helped him lose weight.” Diabetes-turned-weight loss pills are said to have helped him curb his appetite.
“Ozempic says you can only have two of your favorites,” he joked.
Page Six noted that the rapper did not “clarify when he started using injections or whether he still uses it” when speaking with US Weekly.
