ALLURING ANGEL (GB) (f, 2, Fastnet Rock {Aus} –All of Me {GB}, by Teofilo {Ire}), imported from Ireland as an aspirant, finished as third pick 4-1 on Thursday in her career debut. Backing away from her pace at just one horse through the opening act, she raced two wide outside Gustiamo (Blame) before moving to the track halfway at the far turn. During a trip across the fourth column, Alluring Angel swung out five wide to leave the turn and began to rally with power down the middle of the lane. As the weary pacesetter Illicit (Into Mischief) entered the final eighth, Cowichan (Ire) was the favorite after briefly taking over from the third road before being breathed in from the outside by the fast-closed Alluring Angel, who had Rush through in the final steps to win half the length. Illegal will fade to fifth place. The winner was bred on a similar cross to this owner’s Star Devine (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) who achieved ‘Rising star TDN‘ was honored with a quick debut win at the Aqueduct in April 2021. The Devine star, who won the Galway S. at Spa last year, is the daughter of the late Galileo (Ire), while the winner on Thursday was a mare by Galileo’s successful son Teofilo (Ire). All Of Me (GB), she is half sister to MG1SP I Can Fly (GB) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}), has since produced a coveted pony of Showcasing (GB) and lost a pony by Earthlight (Ire) in 2022 Sales history: 48,000gns Wlg ’20 TATFOA.
