Far Cry 6 Lost in the Open Worlds where players battle “Shardfaces” in a wild world

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming Far Cry 6 The expansion, Lost Between Worlds, is out next week on consoles and PC.

Lost Between Worlds takes place in a “broken” version of the game’s setting, Yara, and it continues the story of Dani Rojas. The Far Cry series has a reputation for being out-of-the-box, and it looks like Lost Between Worlds will continue this trend.

“After exploring a mysterious meteor impact site, Dani will find herself in a twisted space between worlds with an immaterial life form named Fai. The player will need repairs. Lost among the worlds there are 15 challenges, called “Rifts”, in which they must defeat enemies known as “Shardfaces”. Ubisoft says all gear unlocked in Lost Between Worlds can also be brought back into the main Far Cry 6 game to give players a “superhuman edge”.

Lost Between Worlds arrives on December 6 for $20. Players who own the Upgrade Card will also have access to the expansion.

Additionally, Ubisoft announced that the free trial for Far Cry 6 has started today, November 29, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. This trial allows the player to visit Isla Santuario and all progress from the trial will carry over to the full game if the player decides to buy it outright.

Finally, Ubisoft launched the Title 6 update for Far Cry 6 today, which adds a new Game+ mode that gives players the ability to use end-of-game gear and weapons when start for another playthrough.
